Nehal Ismail is an acclaimed Egyptian photographer who masterfully tells rich visual stories through her lens. A graduate of The American University in Cairo with a BA in English and Comparative Literature, her background in theatre informs her evocative compositional style.

Since founding Nehal Ismail Photography in 2009, Nehal has built a diverse and international portfolio—covering wedding celebrations in Egypt, the UAE, Libya, and the USA, as well as portraits, newborn and toddler shoots, corporate events, and commercial product, fashion, food and school photography. A seasoned freelancer and founding creative, Nehal’s eye for cultural nuance and emotional depth sets her work apart. Her style is rooted in documentary photography, blending authenticity with artistry to tell stories as they naturally unfold— unfiltered, emotional and real.
